By simply pressing the Personal Help Button worn around the neck or wrist a Lifeline subscriber is instantly connected to a professional monitor who will access the callers need and respond appropriately, whether it's calling a loved one, neighbor or Montgomery County Memorial Hospital has offered the Lifeline service the past 20 years. This is what one subscriber has said about the service. "It gives me security when I am by myself. I know if I press the button someone will answer me. One time I fell when I was alone and Lifeline contacted my family and they came to help me immediately. Not only do I feel secure but it also gives my family peace of mind."
