Biography
Dr. Butz has been serving patients in Red Oak and surrounding communities since 1999. He grew up in a family with 4 generations of dentists and became interested in practicing medicine as a way of continuing a tradition of helping people and serving community.
"I very much enjoy taking care of all ages of patients. Being able to serve multiple generations within the family is very rewarding. Every day as a family physician is unique with all ages of patients and every variety of physical and social problems to be addressed."
Dr. Butz professes faith in Christ as his Lord and Savior and a desire to follow Christian principles. "Jesus taught his disciples to put others ahead of self. I strive to serve others through my work as a physician and through service to my community and church."
Dr. Butz trained at University Nebraska Medical Center and completed his family practice residency in Lincoln Nebraska. He has been married to his wife Christy for 32 years and has 4 wonderful daughters and 2 amazing sons in law. He enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Hobbies include time with family, running, biking and trying to find time to travel.
