Volunteers
Volunteers are always needed! Montgomery County Memorial Hospital volunteers are a wonderfully diverse group of professionals, retirees, moms, dads and students. In choosing to volunteer, you are doing something meaningful with your free time. More importantly, your service and generosity of spirit make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Volunteer Opportunities
Meals on Wheels
The MCMH Meals on Wheels Program delivers meals to Montgomery County Residents. There are 5 delivery routes a day, Monday through Friday. Each route has between 5 and 12 stops. The driver picks up the route meals between 10:45am and 11:00am. Delivery takes between 20-30 minutes. Volunteers deliver once a week on the same day each week. Please call Laura Kloewer at (712) 623-6491.
Lemon Tree Gift Shop
The Lemon Tree Gift Shop is operated by the hospital volunteer auxiliary. All proceeds are donated to the hospital to support special projects. The shop is located just inside the main entrance to the hospital. Volunteers are needed. If you have an interest in donating your time and efforts for the hospital volunteer auxiliary, please contact Shirley Koppen, Auxiliary President, at (712) 623-3946.
