Biography

Dr. Tana Perry, an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) at Methodist Physicians Clinic Women's Center Council Bluffs, attended Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and was a resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. With a love for math, science and people, she was called to the field of medicine. But it wasn't until her OB/GYN rotation in medical school that she discovered a passion for caring for women.

"It was just perfect," she said. "I wanted to come in early and stay late. I loved delivering babies, the operating room and talking to patients in clinic."

What Dr. Perry loves most about her job is getting "the chance to interact with women and help empower them to make health care decisions." She chose to work for Methodist because of the quality care it's known for. She knows her patients are in good hands even when she can't be present. Whether biking outside or playing board games, Dr. Perry enjoys spending her free time with her husband.
