Biography

Stacy Watts, ARNP, attended Iowa State University in Ames, IA and studied Microbiology. Stacy then received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Nebraska Methodist University and a master's degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. Stacy was born and raised in Montgomery County. Her husband was in the Air Force and therefore were gone from the area for about 20 years. During that period, most of her career was spent in the ICU and ER. Stacy has also worked and gained experience in long-term care, cardiac Cath lab, management and PACU. She has volunteered at the free medical clinic and participated in various health fairs and hospital functions. She has attained the following certifications:

  • CCRN (Critical Care Certification)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Memberships include Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
