Medically Referred Exercise Training (MRET): Improve your Health with Guided Physical Activity! 

MCMH + Clinics is proud to offer MRET for our patients who need help improving their health with regular guided physical activity. Medically Referred Exercise Training is a comprehensive, individualized physical activity program that can help you lose weight and improve health outcomes.

 

Who provides MRET?

MRET is led by a qualified personal trainer. MCMH + Clinics personal trainers have earned a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health promotion field or have obtained a Personal Training certification from an accredited institution. Personal Trainers are also required to complete continuing education credits in order to maintain certification requirements and stay current with the latest research and findings.

Who qualifies for MRET?

Anyone qualifies with a provider referral. There are no specific health guidelines you must meet to qualify you for this service.

How much is MRET?

MRET is a private pay service. Insurance does not cover the cost at this time. Each session with the trainer is $15.00. Frequency and duration will depend on your initial assessment but most sessions will last 30-40 minutes. 

How do I get started?

If you think MRET is right for you, talk to your doctor. After our personal trainer receives a referral from your doctor, they will contact you to set up your initial MRET visit.
