Biography

Abby Johnson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Red Oak Medical Clinic. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan, focusing on prevention, wellness, and the management of acute and chronic conditions.

Abby earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), followed by both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University.

Originally from Story City, Iowa, Abby values building strong relationships with her patients and supporting their overall health and well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Abby enjoys spending her time reading, gardening, and baking or cooking. She has also recently taken up cross-stitch, embracing what she humorously describes as “all the good old-lady hobbies”.
