Biography

Dr. Todd Sekundiak is joining MD West ONE in May of 2025. Dr. Sekundiak is a nationally recognized leader in orthopedic surgery who specializes in total joint replacement and total joint revision surgery. He has spent the last 20 years training surgeons on navigation, robotic, and minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement surgeries. He has also worked with various manufacturers to help improve and design the most successful implants in the US and around the world.

He is a native of Winnipeg, Canada, and graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine, Winnipeg. He completed orthopedic surgery residencies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. Dr. Sekundiak completed two fellowships in arthroplasty, the first at the Arizona Centre for Joint Replacement in Phoenix, and the other at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Central DuPage Hospitals in Chicago. Board-certified by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Sekundiak brings a wealth of experience and clinical excellence to his practice. His focus on joint replacement allows him to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
