What Is Pain Management?

Pain management is a coordinated approach to diagnosing, treating, and preventing pain, whether it’s acute (new/short‑term), subacute, or chronic (lasting >3 months). We address pain from conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, back/neck problems, nerve pain, headaches, post‑surgical pain, and more. Your plan may include lifestyle strategies, medications, injections, interventional procedures, physical therapy, and surgical consultation when needed.

Goals of Care

  • Reduce pain intensity and flare‑ups
  • Improve function and mobility
  • Support sleep, mood, and daily activities
  • Minimize medication side effects and risks
  • Empower you with education and self‑management tools
